Academics — Elementary School

The elementary school includes kindergarten through fifth grades, and the program is composed of traditional academic subjects, fine arts, and biblical teaching. Specifically, instruction includes:

• A phonics-based approach to reading, including vocabulary and inquiry for teaching reading comprehension
• Traditional grammar and writing using the Institute for Excellence in Writing program
• Singapore Math
• History and geography using a chronological and narrative approach
• Science with an emphasis on experimentation
• Christian worldview instruction including biblical knowledge and application
